Kunstgrillen Ensemble is a Stavanger-based live-art project creating performances in public and natural-urban spaces anchored in improvisation. The ensemble comprises seven skilled artists from diverse artistic and geographical backgrounds, blending dance, music and visuals to engage audiences on various sensory levels. They aim to democratise art by staging performances in public spaces, challenging perceptions and introducing new artistic styles. Originating during the COVID-19 restrictions in 2020, the project evolved, creating site-specific performances in different cities in 2021 and revisiting them in 2022, observing their evolution and resonance with the original location.

Šárka Benedová is the artistic leader of the ensemble.
