knitted stories (Benedová / Thingnes)
knitted stories is a collaborative dance performance blending movement, music, and visual art to explore themes of memory, identity, and connection. Inspired by stories from participants of diverse backgrounds, the performance unfolds within installations of hand-knitted fabric, reflecting the collective creativity of many hands and lives. Led by Šárka Benedová and Ingvild Thingnes, knitted stories transforms everyday materials and traditions into a textured, immersive dance experience. Upcoming performances include Stavanger Domkirke and Spiren Scene, with other venues and dates to be announced.
