Hungry for Play and Sweat (Benedová / Kjær)

Hungry for play and sweat is exactly what we are - as dancers, creators, performers, musicians.
The practice of contact improvisation gives us joy of play, energy and shared embodied curiosity. The beautiful thing about playing is the focus and the unpredictability of how things pan out, unfold, fail or succeed. With this project, we challenge the presumption that contact improvisation doesn’t hold performative value.

We wish to tickle the spectators’ curiosity to the extent that they will not be able to take their eyes off the “game”. As if watching a puzzle building and dismantling itself whilst constantly feeding the imagination.
